Dr. Arvind Kumar is a distinguished Thoracic (Chest) Surgeon renowned for his expertise in treating surgical conditions related to the chest, including the lungs, pleura, mediastinum, trachea, esophagus, chest wall, and diaphragm, as well as chest trauma. He leads India's most extensive Chest Surgery, Chest Oncosurgery, and Robotic Chest Surgery program, providing a comprehensive range of services, including Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS) and state-of-the-art Robotic Chest Surgery. With over 36 years of service at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Dr. Arvind Kumar has pioneered VATS and Robotic Chest Surgeries in India, amassing one of the largest experiences in Asia in Robotic Thymectomy for Myasthenia Gravis and Thymoma.
